The Institute for Adaptive Reuse is a national post-profit organization that supports artists, scientists, and scholars pursuing innovative approaches to the use, re-use and reinvention of pre-owned materials. The IAR underwrites work with the potential for significant economic, artistic, technological, scientific and retail impact. The IAR is committed to organizing disparate second-hand phenomena and pre-owned practitioners into a cohesive research community.
