Mapping
The Second-Hand
Mapping Program (SHMP) will provide a detailed topography and
database of second hand resources and outlets nationwide.
Residency
Program
The IAR-tist
Residency Program offers residencies to professionals who incorporate
second-hand processes in form, content or research of their practice.
IAR-tists are selected by a panel of other professionals without
regard to financial means. Residencies last from two weeks to
two months and include rustic accommodations and a small stipend
at IAR Field or District offices.
The Iowa City Field Office will offer its first IAR-tist Residency
in the June 2002.
Object
Registry Database
The Object
Registry Database (ORD) catalogues the entire IAR research inventory.
Provenance
Archive
The IAR Provenance
Archive is designed to help second-hand researchers locate registered
IAR objects. Owners of Registered Institute for Adaptive Reuse
Objects (RIARO) are expected to keep the reuse community informed
on RIARO transitions, transformations and transactions.
